Mr. Simms has significant federal and state court experience handling claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Arizona Wage Payment Act, and the Arizona Employment Protection Act. He has also participated in numerous administrative proceedings, including matters pending before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”), the United States Department of Labor, the Civil Rights Division of the Arizona Attorney General's Office, and the National Labor Relations Board ("NLRB"). He also regularly reviews, revises, and drafts documents that govern the employment relationship, including employment contracts, personnel manuals, non-compete agreements, and similar documents.
Mr. Simms is a native of the state of Arizona. He was born in Florence, Arizona in 1974. He attended Arizona State University for his undergraduate studies and graduated from the Arizona State University College of Law.
